Ebony Rep presents evening with Bernard and Shirley Kinsey Feb. 4

LOS ANGELES -- The Ebony Repertory Company presents its third annual Evening with Bernard and Shirley Kinsey "What You Didn't Learn in High School History" Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Nate Holden Center for the Performing Arts, 4718 W. Washington Blvd at 8 p.m.

The Kinseys, collectors whose Kinsey Collection drew more than 2.5 million viewers to galleries including the Smithsonian, will take guests on a journey through art and heritage from Reconstruction through the Harlem Renaissance.

They will explore the many stories of accomplishment and contributions often left out of our nation's history books.
